Every workshop I run is participative. People learn by doing, in pairs and small groups, at their own pace. Nobody is ever put on the spot, nothing requires anyone to disclose anything, and thinking along counts as taking part. That isn't a disclaimer; it's the method. A room that's easy to be in is where the learning happens. And the way each session is run is itself a demonstration of the practices your team takes away.

The half-day workshop

Seen for Health Professionals is a half-day, in-practice workshop that certifies as three hours' verifiable CPD.

It counts for the whole team in the room. For dental teams it maps to GDC outcomes A, C and D across dentists, therapists, hygienists and dental nurses. Nurses, opticians and other registrants receive a CPD certificate setting out the learning content, outcomes and hours, suitable for their reflective logs and revalidation. Front-desk colleagues attend equally and receive a standard certificate.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session, participants will:

• understand why neurodivergent patients disproportionately delay, miss and abandon care, and describe the avoidance cycle behind it;
• assess their own practice environment and patient journey through a sensory and executive-function lens; and
• use a concrete communication toolkit, before, during and after the appointment, that improves the experience of every patient, neurodivergent or not.

Example: Verifiable CPD for dental teams

For dental practices, for example, the session evidences against GDC enhanced CPD development outcomes:

A: effective communication with patients and colleagues

C: maintenance and development of knowledge and skill within your field of practice

D: skills, behaviours and attitudes that maintain patient confidence

Quality assurance and evidence

Participant feedback is collected against the stated aims. Certificates carry each registrant's name, registration number, the learning content, outcomes and hours, and arrive within a week. The session closes with a written reflection you can paste straight into your CPD log: the paperwork done before you've left the room.

Fees

The rate for the half-day (three hours) is £895. For a whole team of fourteen to sixteen, that works out at roughly £55 to £65 per person for three in-person verifiable hours, certificates included, against around £50 per person for a generic online webinar your team watches separately. Same budget line, a different order of value: your team, in one room, working on your own patient journey.
