Having a neurodivergent brain can feel like you're constantly swimming upstream: second-guessing everything you do or say, thinking you're not good enough despite evidence to the contrary, procrastinating on the things that matter most, feeling guilty when you need downtime to recharge, and overthinking every. single. conversation. And that's just the beginning of a very long list of ways your beautiful, different brain may experience the world.
Many of these struggles often stem from years of trying to fit into spaces not made for you—facing misunderstanding, or having your natural ways of being seen as "wrong." The neurodivergent community carries unique wounds from a world that hasn't always understood or celebrated different minds.
When we work together, we'll gently explore both where you want to go and what might be holding you back. This isn't just about setting goals, although we'll do that too. It's about healing old hurts, understanding what overwhelms your nervous system, and discovering what truly works for you, rather than what you've been told should work.
We create space for deep and lasting change that honours both your growth and your healing journey, so you can become confident that masking, self-doubt, and old pain will no longer rule your life.
Before anything else, we talk. This first conversation is free, informal, and without pressure or expectation. It's a chance for you to ask questions, get a sense of how I work, and for us both to feel whether working together makes sense. If it does, we take it from there. I send you a form that you ideally complete before our first session where you can describe in more details what brings you to counselling or coaching. If it doesn't, that's okay too.
Sometimes people arrive with a clear sense of what they want to explore. Sometimes they know something isn't right but aren't sure where to start. Both are completely fine — we take our time, explore what feels most alive or most pressing, and begin to get a sense of what our sessions might look like for you.
What unfolds depends on you — on what you're carrying, what you're reaching for, and what feels most useful at any given point.
Sometimes sessions are about building forward towards precise goals: getting clearer on what you want, understanding what's getting in the way, finding practical ways to move. This is where coaching comes in — active, focused, grounded in where you want to go.
Sometimes it's about understanding what's been or why things are the way they are: making sense of experiences that have shaped you, sitting with things that haven't had space to be processed, finding a different relationship with your own story. This is where counselling comes in — slower, deeper, held with care.
In practice, we often move between the two. What matters is following what's actually needed, rather than staying in a lane for the sake of it.
Whatever shape our sessions take, a few things remain constant.
I work integratively — drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches rather than a single fixed model, because different things are useful at different times and for different people. The framework adapts to you, not the other way around.
I work in a way that is neurodiversity-affirming — which means I don't treat your brain as something to be fixed or managed. Your neurological differences are part of who you are, not a problem to be solved. We work with your brain, not against it.
I work from a trauma-informed perspective — understanding that many of the patterns, responses, and struggles that bring people to therapy make complete sense in the context of what they've been through. Nothing you bring will be met with judgement.
And through all of it: curiosity and kindness. Always.

It is if you're:
Do I need a diagnosis?
Absolutely not! Some people find it useful to be formally diagnosed; others do not. In working together, we focus on your experiences, so a diagnosis is not essential.
Will you give me a diagnosis or prescribe medication?
No, I will not. To both! I am not qualified to assess you formally or prescribe any medication.
